Tonkolili District College of Health Sciences was established on 17 September 2012 in line with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation educational programmes and the Human Resources for Health Development Plan of Sierra Leone. The college operates in collaboration with district and international partners, with strong emphasis on primary health care, health promotion, and disease prevention.
